New bottle of old wine: compared with AMD Ryzen 75825U, the performance of AMD Ryzen 77730U is only 3-4% better.

Foreign science and technology media notebookcheck believes that it is only "old wine in new bottles" of Ryzen 75825U, and the improvement in performance is not obvious.

AMD launched the Ryzen 77730U chip in January this year, which is based on the Zen 3 architecture and is equipped with the Vega 8 graphics part, which is specially designed for lightweight notebooks.

Although the Ryzen 77730U is a new product, it is actually a Ryzen 75825U vest. The Barcelo-R APU scored 3186 on PassMark's single-threaded test, just 4.2% higher than the Ryzen 7 5825U (launched in January 2022). Its score in the CPU Mark test suite was 19034, only 3.36 per cent higher.

CTOnews.com learned that the two chips have the same specification and clock speed, the Ryzen 7 7730U TDP is 15 W, while the Ryzen 7 5825U specification is 10-25 W (the default is 15 W).
