CTOnews.com learned from Meguiar China's official website that Meguiar's Xi'an factory was established in 2006, mainly engaged in integrated circuit assembly and testing and DRAM module manufacturing. The plant plays an important role in Micron's continued success in DRAM markets such as the network, cloud and data center.

Meguiar said that Yang Weidong will report to Wu Mingxia (Betty Wu), vice president of Micron's DRAM packaging and testing operations. He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Leicester in the UK and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Micron, Yang Weidong served as Senior Director of back-end Operations at Qualcomm, where he was responsible for promoting key processes to improve utilization and capacity.

In addition, Yang Weidong has also held leading positions in Samsung, ASE and Jiangsu Changdian Technology (JCET), responsible for new product introduction, packaging design, business development, mass production operation and manufacturing.
