It is reported that the modified Tesla Model 3 will eliminate wood decoration.
According to news from CTOnews.com on February 21, the interior of Tesla Model 3 is often ridiculed as a "rough house". The more eye-catching decoration inside is the wood decoration across the front dashboard of the vehicle, but it has been reported that the modified Model 3 may cancel this decoration.
CTOnews.com learned from Twitter blogger Chris Zheng that Tesla will switch from wood decoration to ABS-bonded foam nonwovens, a denser material that could lead to a more modern interior design for vehicles.
Although it has not yet been confirmed by Tesla, there is some evidence that Tesla may indeed plan to do so. There were earlier reports that Tesla was planning to reduce the number of car parts and simplify its interiors. Although the craftsmanship of wood paneling is not necessarily complicated, Tesla can avoid buying extra parts by unifying the material and appearance of white and black interiors.
The Model 3 has been launched for nearly six years, and it is also possible to make changes in the interiors, not only to attract new buyers, but also to boost sales by making some old car owners consider switching to new cars.
