CTOnews.com, February 22 (Xinhua)-- Fortune today released its list of the world's most admired companies (The Most Admired Company) in 2023, and Apple ranked No. 1 again. This is also the 16th year in a row that Apple has been named the most admired company in the world.

Apple ranks first in our annual corporate reputation rankings for the 16th consecutive year, according to a survey of about 3700 executives, directors and analysts. Amazon and Microsoft tied for second place.

Financial firms have been praised for responding effectively to economic pressures such as inflation: JPMorgan Chase (No. 5) reached its highest ranking ever, while Morgan Stanley made it into the top 50 for the first time.

In other areas, Costco Wholesale (No. 7) ranked higher than its industry supply chain, the best ranking ever, while Netflix fell from ninth to 29th place because of fierce competition that undermined its historical dominance in streaming.
