Samsung 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7 display starts pre-sale in Europe: support 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response
CTOnews.com, February 22 (Xinhua) Samsung, which launched a 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7 game display in South Korea and Taiwan, is starting to launch in more markets. Samsung today launched the 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7 in Europe (first in the UK) and opened its pre-sale.
The 43-inch Odyssey Neo G7 game monitor is priced at £899 in the UK (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB 7489). Pre-order will last until March 5 and ship on March 6, 2023. During the pre-order period, Samsung provided its new game monitor with a 1TB T7 portable SSD hard drive for free.
Samsung's new game display features a 43-inch Mini-LED-based QLED display (VA) with 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 1000000 144Hz 1 contrast, 12bit backlight, DisplayHDR 600 certification, and 1ms response time. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and matte surfaces. Also passed the HDR10 + game certification.
In terms of I / O, the Odyssey Neo G7 display has 2 HDMI 2.1input ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4 + 2 USB Type-A 3.0downstream ports, 1 USB 3.0mm Type-B uplink port, 1 3.5mm headphone Jack, 1 Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.2. It also has a screen mirrored Tap View function and two built-in 20W speakers to support adaptive sound effects.
The display runs the TizenOS system and is equipped with a remote control handle that provides access to all popular audio and video streaming applications as well as cloud game streaming applications. It also has Samsung Game Center, Game Bar, ultra-wide game screen and so on. The rear of the device also has a RGB lighting effect.
