CTOnews.com, February 27 (Xinhua)-- British fitness game maker Quell recently announced that it has completed a $10 million round of financing, led by Tencent, Khosla Ventures, Heartcore Capital, Social Impact Capital and entrepreneur Naval Ravikant, according to Games Industry.
Quell said the money would be used for the development of its first game, Shardfall, and its new project, as well as the mass production of Quell fitness hardware Imapct.
Quell is a UK-based fitness game developer and publisher. Its Impact platform is the world's first dedicated fitness game system, a movement and biometric tracking technology that provides immersive video games and fitness experiences. Quell is also building its own fitness hardware.
Quell completed a $5.6 million seed round in 2020, and as of this round, Quell has raised a total of $15.6 million.
