The series combines wildlife filmmaking, the latest knowledge of paleontology and state-of-the-art technology to unveil the spectacular habitats and creatures of ancient Earth and provide a unique immersive experience. Produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit's world-renowned team, the second season continues to showcase new dinosaurs, new habitats and new scientific discoveries, while taking viewers on epic adventures.

The first season of the Apple TV+ natural history series "prehistoric Planet" has its global premiere on Apple TV+ from May 23 to May 27, 2022.
