Amap launched the "sports navigation" function: it can record the calories consumed by riding and walking.

According to CTOnews.com news on March 4, Amap recently launched a "exercise navigation" feature, which can help users record calorie consumption in cycling and walking navigation modes, set calorie consumption targets, and view the phased results of recent calorie consumption.

From now on, Amap users upgrade to the latest version (CTOnews.com Note: 12.05 and later), you can see the specific number of calories expected to be consumed after the completion of cycling (bicycle mode) and walking navigation route planning, and you can also check the achievement of your goals. For example, walking 5 kilometers can burn about 220 calories, and the system will remind users of their current calorie consumption at the right time during navigation.

In addition, Gaud's Motion Navigation also correlates consumption values with food to give users a more intuitive sense of calorie consumption. For example, 0-50kcal is about equivalent to an egg, 450-500kcal is about equivalent to a box of cookies and so on. It is convenient for users to refer to this value to adjust their daily diet so as to achieve their desired goals.

It is understood that Amap's "sports navigation" is based on the research and development of the "Gao de Sports" function. If users fail to achieve the target calorie consumption during daily travel, you can also search the home page for "Gao de Sports" keywords to open the Gao de Sports function, select "running around", "go running" or "go cycling", and carry out supplementary exercises according to the tips.
