CTOnews.com, March 9 (Xinhua)-- Disney officially released a new poster for the live-action version of the Little Mermaid movie, which shows the little mermaid sitting on a reef, almost recreating the original animated poster, highlighting her looking up at the stars from the reef. The film will be released in North America on May 26.

Disney released the first trailer for the live-action version of the Little Mermaid at the D23 Expo Global fan conference, followed by a number of posters. The live-action version of "the Little Mermaid" is adapted from the 1989 Disney classic animation of the same name, directed by Rob Marshall and played by Halle Bailey as the Mermaid Ariel,Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric.
