Sources say hackers launched blackmail software attacks by attacking Airbus's logistics service provider (LTS). The shutdown of the LTS network has forced the suspension of production of aircraft parts at the Airbus plant.
Sources say the hackers demanded a ransom of 15 million euros (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 111 million yuan), and Airbus has not made a follow-up response to the security incident.
