CTOnews.com March 13 news, according to the official news of Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd., March 10, the world's first integrated construction of LNG (CTOnews.com note: liquefied natural gas) module chemical plant Canada LNG project the last two core modules set sail in Qingdao site, is expected to arrive in Canada in early April LNG project site.

According to reports, Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. contracted the construction of 35 modules in the first phase of the project, including all 19 core process modules, with a total weight of about 179000 tons, equivalent to the steel structure weight of nearly three of the world's tallest buildings.

Since construction started in November 2019, CNOOC Engineering Co., Ltd. initiated the integrated construction mode of core process module and pipe gallery in the world, realized the new NBG (no back protective gas) welding technology for the first time in the world, and applied 4D visualization technology to the construction of LNG core process module for the first time in China.

In addition, the project is a world-class LNG project jointly invested by Shell and other five major international oil companies. The first phase of the project plans to build two production lines with an annual output of 14 million tons of LNG. When completed and put into production, it will supply high-quality clean energy to China and other Asian countries.
