CTOnews.com March 13 news, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released automobile exports in February 2023. According to the data, 87000 new energy vehicles were exported in February, an increase of 5.3 percent over the previous month, and an increase of 79.5 percent over the same period last year. 170000 new energy vehicles were exported from January to February, an increase of 62.8 percent over the same period last year.

In February 2023, the Automobile Association of Tuyuan exported 329000 vehicles, up 9.4 percent from the previous month and 82.2 percent over the same period last year; 271000 passenger vehicles, up 8.3 percent from the previous month and 85.8 percent from the same period last year; and 58000 commercial vehicles, up 15.1 percent from the previous month and 67.2 percent from the same period last year. From January to February, automobile enterprises exported 630000 vehicles, up 52.9 percent from the same period last year; 522000 passenger vehicles, up 57.7 percent; and 108000 commercial vehicles, up 32.9 percent from the same period last year.

CTOnews.com previously reported that CAA data released new energy vehicle production and sales figures on March 10. According to the data, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 552,000 and 525000 respectively in February, up 48.8% and 55.9% respectively over the same period last year. From January to February, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 977,000 and 933000 respectively, an increase of 18.1% and 20.8% respectively over the same period last year.
