CTOnews.com, March 14 (Xinhua)-- half Life 2 is a first-person shooter launched by Valve 19 years ago. Reddit user Zbios recently successfully ran the game natively on Raspberry Pie 4, and the actual experience is very smooth.

The Raspberry Pie 4 only has the memory capacity of the 256MB, which happens to meet the minimum graphics standard for running the half Life 2 game. Raspberry pie 4 also supports OpenGL used by Source Engine, although it can't get the best FPS shooting experience, but the overall operation is very smooth.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that Zbios uses content recently submitted to the GitHub library, and the game "half Life 2" supports Android, OSX, FreeBSD, Windows, and can also run on Apple Mac devices such as M1 and M2.
