CTOnews.com, March 15, the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics show that from January to February 2023, the added value of industries above scale increased by 2.4% compared with the same period last year (the growth rate of added value is the real growth rate excluding price factors). On a month-on-month basis, the added value of industries above scale increased by 0.12% in February over the previous month.

CTOnews.com learned from the data of the National Bureau of Statistics that among them, the monthly output of integrated circuits from January to February 2023 was 44.3 billion, down 17.0% from the same period last year.

In addition, the monthly production of microcomputer equipment was 46.04 million units from January to February of 2023, down 21.9% from the same period last year. The monthly production of mobile communication handsets was 203.71 million units from January to February, down 4.8% from the same period last year, of which the output of smartphones was 134.47 million, down 14.1% from the same period last year.

In terms of products, the output of 269 of the 620 products increased from January to February compared with the same period last year. 206.23 million tons of steel, up 3.6 percent over the same period last year; 198.55 million tons of cement, down 0.6 percent; 11.92 million tons of 10 non-ferrous metals, up 9.8 percent; 5.08 million tons of ethylene, down 1.7 percent; 3.653 million cars, down 14.0 percent, including 970,000 new energy vehicles, up 16.3 percent; power generation of 13497 billion kilowatt hours, up 0.7 percent; and crude oil processing volume of 11607 tons, up 3.3 percent.
