CTOnews.com March 16, Microsoft today released a March update for the Windows version of the Xbox app, focusing on improved algorithms to help players find suitable games, quickly access recent games, and so on.

This update adds a new collection called Trending to the home page to showcase some of the most popular game recommendations. Trending will offer 10 popular games based on the player's region.

Microsoft has once again improved the sidebar to show only recently installed or played games, rather than alphabetically. CTOnews.com also learned from the Microsoft blog that Microsoft provides more powerful filters to help users filter their favorite games.
