Ericsson Qualcomm Joint operator achieves maximum 1.6Gbps 5G Uplink Speed

With faster 5G uplink rate and Singtel Paragon (CTOnews.com Note: integrated 5G and Multi-access Edge Computing Service choreography platform), enterprises will be able to better analyze the performance of their devices and networks and improve their real-time performance monitoring and feedback capabilities.

Industrial applications in the fields of Pixabay manufacturing, transportation, medical, entertainment and news production often require higher uplink capacity than ordinary individual mobile users. Through the balanced mode architecture configuration, SingTel effectively changes the uplink and downlink throughput, and provides a higher uplink ratio for 5G millimeter wave, thus increasing the cell throughput peak of the uplink.

On 5G millimeter wave, using balanced frame configuration combined with uplink four carriers, the maximum uplink rate of 1.6Gbps is achieved by using Snapdragon X655G modem-RF system-driven test equipment on Singapore Telecom network.
