Tianmu-1 meteorological constellation 03, 04, 05 and 06 is a remote sensing exploration satellite developed by the Aerospace Systems Corporation of China Aerospace Science and Industry, which is mainly used to obtain information on global atmospheric environmental factors. after completion, it can realize the global all-weather three-dimensional and integrated exploration of ocean, atmosphere and ionosphere.

This mission is the 19th flight of the Clipper 1A carrier rocket.

The Kuaizhou-1A rocket carrying out this launch mission is a small solid carrier rocket launched by Aerospace Sanjiang Aerospace Science and Technology Rocket Technology Co., Ltd., which belongs to China Aerospace Science and Technology Industry. It mainly provides launch services for 300 kg low-orbit small satellites, and has the characteristics of high flight reliability, high orbit accuracy, short preparation period, low support requirements, low launch cost, and so on.

According to CTOnews.com, the Tianmu-1 meteorological constellation is a series of satellites developed by Xiyong Micro-Electric Park Company to detect a variety of atmospheric and marine space environment elements, such as the global ocean, atmosphere and ionosphere. At present, six satellites have been successfully launched, among which Tianmu-1 Meteorological Constellation 01 and Tianmu-1 Meteorological Constellation 02 were launched from Jiuquan Satellite launch Center by Ceres-1 remote five carrier rocket on January 9, 2023.
