Nicole Z 85mm f / 1.2S is a S-Line (S-type) Nicole Z lens, which adopts the same design concept as Nicole Z 50mm f / 1.2S and pays attention to virtual rendering in the development process.
The lens uses low dispersion (ED) lenses to reduce the color dispersion of the virtual edge, while optimizing the lens structure to achieve soft virtual characteristics. Nikon says Nikel Z 85mm f / 1.2S also provides excellent rendering capabilities to beautifully express the texture of skin and hair, further expanding the possibility of shooting portraits in areas such as weddings and fashion.
Nicole Z 85mm f / 1.2S uses a multi-focus system, which also provides autofocus performance at the shallow depth of field of f / 1.2 maximum aperture. In addition, the lens is equipped with a stepper motor (STM) to achieve smooth and quiet focus operation, allowing users to better focus on photo shooting and video recording.
The main functional features strike a balance between high resolution and the use of the beautiful, smooth and virtual features brought about by f / 1.2 maximum aperture shallow depth of field.
As the distance from the focal plane increases gradually, the beautiful virtual gradient effect and the soft background virtual effect are realized. The virtual edge will not appear color edge lines, which will help to further highlight the main subject.
The multi-focus system with stepper motor (STM) provides fast, accurate and quiet autofocus for taking photos and recording videos.
Use Nikon's original nanocrystalline coating to effectively reduce ghosts and glare.
One low dispersion (ED) lens and two aspheric lenses are used to effectively correct multiple aberrations.
Equipped with electromagnetic aperture device, easy to use.
Taking into account the design of video recording, to achieve quiet operation and stable exposure, and focus breath compensation function can effectively reduce the shift of the angle of view when focusing.
