According to CTOnews.com news on March 23, China Mobile announced its annual results on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2022, with operating income of 937.3 billion yuan, an increase of 10.5% over the same period last year, and profit attributable to shareholders of 125.5 billion yuan, an increase of 8.0% over the same period last year.

CTOnews.com noted that revenue from communications services reached 812.1 billion yuan, up 8.1% from the same period last year; revenue from digital transformation reached 207.6 billion yuan, up 30.3% from the same period last year, accounting for 25.6% of revenue from communications services; of which, mobile cloud revenue was 50.3 billion yuan, an increase of 108.1% over the same period last year.

In 2022, the number of mobile customers was 975 million, of which 614 million were customers of the 5G package; mobile ARPU increased 0.4% year-on-year to 49.0 yuan. The number of cable broadband customers is 272 million, of which the number of household broadband customers is 244 million; the comprehensive ARPU of household customers increased by 5.8% compared with the same period last year, reaching 42.1 yuan.

The board of directors recommended a dividend rate of 67% for 2022 and a dividend of HK $4.41 per share for 2022, an increase of 8.6% over the same period last year.
