CTOnews.com March 24 news, International Data Corporation (IDC) released a report today, 2022 China Bluetooth headset market shipments of about 94.71 million units, down 18.1% year-on-year.

Among them, the true wireless headset market shipped more than 68.81 million units in 2022, down 15.0% year-on-year. Thanks to the popularity of outdoor sports and the improvement of awareness, bone conduction headphones shipped 2.29 million units, an increase of 123.6% year-on-year, which is also the only form of growth among various types of products.

IDC said that the Bluetooth headset market is expected to rebound slightly by 5% in 2023. With the continuous improvement of penetration rate, the market gradually presents saturation state. Under the condition that the technical function has not been obviously innovated, it is difficult to show substantial growth, but gradually start structural adjustment and prolong the development cycle.

CTOnews.com learned from IDC report that in 2022, the proportion of semi-in-ear products increased by 6 percentage points, and the market for open-form products represented by bone conduction increased by 124%.
