Google is developing a dedicated docking station for Pixel tablets, which can be used as a smart screen when connected
CTOnews.com March 25, Google announced the Pixel tablet at the 2022 I / O developer conference, but did not release it with the Pixel 7 series last October. According to foreign technology media 9to5Google, Google will launch a matching docking station for this tablet, which can be used as a smart screen when connected.
This docking station is similar to the bottom of the Nest Hub Max and may even use the same power connector. CTOnews.com learned from the report that the docking station is magnetically connected and fixed to the Pixel plate and recharged through four pogo-pin contact points.
9to5Google found the "Hub Mode" of the Pixel tablet in the code by reverse-compiling the Google Home application, and pinning the tablet to the docking station automatically activates this mode.
