On March 23, Logitech spokesman (Nicole Kenyon) revealed in an email that the layoffs mainly affected employees in Switzerland.

The layoffs are in the midst of a wave of layoffs across the technology industry. After the outbreak, revenue from computer peripherals needed for telecommuting plummeted.
