CTOnews.com March 30, Apple today released an update of iTunes 12.12.8 for the Windows platform, mainly improving security and adding support for some new devices. Apple's last update was in December 2022, the first version update released by Apple since 2023.

Apple's official update log does not specify which "new devices" to support, but foreign media MacRumors speculates that it may have something to do with the second-generation HomePod released in January 2023.
