Takeo Miyagi was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1934 and studied painting with Western painters in high school. At the same time, as a part-time job at Dongbao Studios, he worked as an art assistant in films ranging from Godzilla (1954) to Ratton (1956).
After 1957, Eiji Tatani, the father of Altman, recommended him to be in charge of optical animation. since then, he has supported the prosperity of Dongbao special effects works and has been responsible for the light drawing of many classic characters. for example, Altman's iconic Spicum Light, Octave Light Wheel and so on.
