The voice logo will be launched in June, and Wikipedia announces the winner of the "Voice of knowledge for all mankind" competition.

CTOnews.com March 31, Wikipedia (Wikipedia) recently issued a press release, saying that the "Voice of Human knowledge" (Sound of all Human Knowledge) competition has come to an end. After voting by many Wikipedia volunteers, the work submitted by Thaddeus Osborne became the final winner.

The "Voice of Human knowledge" competition has received 2094 works from 135 countries and regions around the world to enhance the Wikipedia brand through sound logos similar to Netflix. Wikipedia is expected to launch the new sound logo in June this year.

Sound logo, also known as sound brand or sound trademark, uses a small piece of sound to represent the brand in audio-visual and audio-only settings.

With the rise of global audio technology, the number of active voice assistant users has grown from 544.1 million in 2015 to 2.6 billion in 2021.

Wikimedia projects such as Wikipedia and Wikipedia increasingly power general knowledge queries on other websites and voice-assisted devices. A voice logo helps ensure that listeners know when they visit Wikipedia or Wikimedia sites anywhere online.
