Intel Core i7-13700HX processor comes out of the furnace with 25% performance improvement over i7-12700H
CTOnews.com March 31 news, foreign technology media NotebookCheck conducted a running test of Intel's 13th generation processor Core i7-13700HX, and the results showed that the performance was 25% higher than that of Core i7-12700H.
This evaluation is that the notebook is a 16-inch GM6PX7X game laptop with Core i7-13700HX. CTOnews.com learned from the test results that multithreading is 25% higher than core i7-12700H, but 30 to 35% slower than core i9-13900HX / i9-13980HX.
The 13th generation platform consumes more power than the 12th generation processor, which means that there is no significant improvement in performance per watt. Core i7-13700HX consumes about 183W to run Prime95, while MSI Pulse GL76 with Core i7-12700H processor consumes about 120W.
