CTOnews.com, April 5 (Xinhua)-- Rambus, a supplier of chip and silicon IP, announced that its comprehensive patent license agreement with SK Hynix has been extended for ten years.

The extended license agreement, effective July 1, 2024, will maintain similar financial terms and provide SK Hynix with extensive access to the full portfolio of Rambus patents until mid-2034. Other terms and details are kept confidential.

Luc Seraphin, President and CEO of Rambus, said: "SK Hynix is our long-term partner and customer and we are pleased to extend our strong relationship before the agreement expires. Both Rambus and SK Hynix are committed to driving the development of the industry with world-class products and technology, and this expansion proves the continued value of our intellectual property rights and our continued product cooperation."
