Car sales in that month were 244996, up 3.77 percent from the same period last year and 28.3 percent from the previous month. Of which 35934 vehicles were sold by our own brand of new energy, an increase of 118.60% over the same period last year.

From January to March, Changan automobile sales were 607808, down 6.71% from the same period last year; independent brand sales were 518476, down 2.06% from the same period last year; independent new energy sales were 84539, up 105.4% from the same period last year; independent passenger car sales were 396004, up 9.01% from the same period last year; and overseas sales of independent brands were 60494, up 9.97% from the same period last year.
