Samsung does not think that the Galaxy S23 / S23 + mobile camera has the problem of out-of-focus: it is similar to the depth-of-field effect of a SLR.

Samsung community moderator recently responded to user feedback. CTOnews.com translated as follows:

This is a sensor and lens feature that can achieve a depth-of-field effect similar to that of a SLR camera. If the user wants all areas of the picture to show clear details when shooting a macro, it is recommended to use digital zoom to adjust the distance between the lens and the subject.

According to a survey by the German Forum, only 7 of the 71 users were not affected by the problem. Another survey on the Italian forum showed that 17 out of 25 users had the problem.
