CTOnews.com, April 12 (Xinhua)-- domestic sci-fi blockbuster "wandering Earth 2" has earned more than 4 billion yuan at the mainland box office. According to the latest official news, "wandering Earth 2" will be released in South Korea on May 10, along with posters and promotional films.

Directed by Guo Fan and starring Wu Jing, Li Xuejian, Shayi, Ning Li, Wang Zhi and Zhu Yan Manzi, with a special performance by Andy Lau, wandering Earth 2 was released in Chinese mainland and North America on January 22 and in Hong Kong and Macao in China on February 9. It will premiere online at 16:00 on April 14 and will launch iqiyi, Youku, bilibili, Tencent Video and other platforms.

China Film Digital Film also announced that the key of all mainland releases of wandering Earth 2 will be extended from 00:00:00 on April 16, 2023 to 23:59:59 on May 15, 2023.

As of CTOnews.com, Cat's Eye Professional data show that wandering Earth 2 has been released on the mainland for 81 days and has grossed 4.027 billion yuan at the box office.
