CTOnews.com April 14 news, BYD recently held a new car conference in Barcelona, Spain, announced that dolphins, seals two models will enter the European market in 2023. Dolphins will be pre-sold this summer for delivery in the fourth quarter. Seals will also be available in Europe soon to meet local consumers in Europe.

Dolphins and seals are a new batch of pure electric models launched by BYD in Europe and the first marine models for the European market after BYD launched three models, Han, Tang and BYD ATTO 3 (CTOnews.com note: yuan PLUS) in Europe last year.

BYD announced its entry into the European passenger car market in September 2022. So far, BYD new energy vehicles have been delivered in more than 10 countries in Europe.

BYD sold more than 1.86 million passenger cars worldwide in 2022, up 155.1 per cent from a year earlier. Up to now, BYD has sold more than 3.9 million new energy vehicles worldwide, covering six continents, more than 70 countries and regions, and more than 400 cities.
