China Electronics Society sets up Green computer Standard working Group

CTOnews.com April 15 news, the China Electronics Society officially issued a document, the China Electronics Society Green computer Standard working Group was established and the first plenary meeting was held in Beijing. During the same period, a technical seminar on the green computer industry was also held, and the Green computer Standards working Group was formally established at the seminar.
More than 40 representatives of well-known metrology, certification and evaluation institutions, university scientific research institutes, as well as computer, power supply, chip, display, PCB and software-related enterprises attended the meeting.
CTOnews.com learned that the Green computer Standards working Group of the Chinese Electronics Society is the focal working group for the Society to promote the development of standards for green computer related groups. In the follow-up, it will pay attention to the latest international standard trends and technological innovation hotspots, and devote itself to promoting the formulation of a series of standards that are in line with China's national conditions and conducive to promoting the green and high-quality development of the computer industry.
The establishment of Green computer working Group marks the introduction of the design concept of energy saving and emission reduction and green environmental protection in the field of PC, from manufacturing, operation and maintenance to product recycling.
