CTOnews.com, April 20, App Store payment failure will cause great inconvenience to both users and developers. Apple recently announced a new strategy to allow users to solve billing problems without jumping out of the app.

In an update for developers, Apple said it would launch a new billing process this summer, eliminating the need for developers to take action.

If the user does not renew the subscription because of the billing problem after enabling the automatic renewal feature, the system will automatically appear the corresponding prompt in the application.

CTOnews.com note: current users cannot get some bill discounts or grandfathered plans after payment fails or subscription expires. Although payment processing is Apple's responsibility, users will still blame developers.
