JD.com Logistics has launched new energy vehicles in more than 50 cities, and JD.com has reduced carbon emissions by more than 6000 tons.
According to CTOnews.com news on April 21, JD.com official account announced that by the end of 2022, JD.com had completed the installation of photovoltaic systems in 23 intelligent logistics parks, with photovoltaic roof generating 81970 MW hours for the whole year. JD.com provides customized regional distribution center construction services for BMW, the first "green warehouse" of after-sales parts in Hefei, and the completion of the North China regional distribution center this year with LEED gold certification.
JD.com Logistics B2C fresh business is connected with circular incubators. By the end of 2022, 700000 have been put into use in 18 cities, accumulatively more than 200 million times, reducing the use of foam boxes by 200 million. Circulating green flow boxes (CTOnews.com note: green flow boxes are made of thermoplastic resin, hollow plate structure, biodegradable material as a whole) can be sealed by logistics noodles. 200000 have been regularly put into 30 cities, with a total of 2000 million times. In 2022, 77.1 per cent of JD.com 's bags were biodegradable, covering about 70 per cent of orders.
Dada Express implements carbon emission reduction measures in the whole process of sorting, packaging and distribution, with a distribution distance of 1.82 billion kilometers for the whole year, basically realizing electric vehicle distribution. In 2022, the number of JD.com computer digital and mobile phone trade-in orders increased by 430% and 100% respectively over the same period last year, with a carbon reduction of 150000 tons. By the end of 2022, JD.com Cloud had operated data centers that used more than 35 percent of clean electricity and reduced carbon emissions by more than 6000 tons.
