Britain will spend 100 million pounds to develop its own "sovereignty" AI model

British Science and Technology Minister Michelle Donelan has announced that the country will spend £100m (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 861 million yuan) to set up a new "basic Model working Group" (Foundation Model Taskforce) to develop an AI scheme that will bring "global competitiveness".
