CTOnews.com, May 2, Meta announced that Quest Gaming Showcase will be held at 1: 00 p.m. eastern time on June 1, bringing a variety of new games and game shows. In addition, this year's game show will include a preview of game updates and trailers for new "debuts", as well as "in-depth" discussions with developers.

Meta has previously pointed out that its next mainstream Quest headline will be available later this year. If so, we may see the last big game before the Quest 2 successor arrives at this virtual event.

Meta recently completed its acquisition of Within, the developer of VR fitness game Supernatural, and Meta is still trying to transform itself into a meta-universe. However, its reality lab division is still losing billions of dollars every quarter.

In addition, Meta recently cut the price of the Quest Pro by 1/3 to $999 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 6923 yuan) to stimulate consumers to buy. While the game show is unlikely to turn Meta around, it is likely to spark interest in the VR platform again before a new leader is unveiled.
