CTOnews.com May 5, following the launch of the HomePod 2 and HomePod mini speakers in Singapore last month, Apple today began selling HomePod 2 and HomePod mini in Denmark, with the HomePod 2 selling for DKK 2599 (CTOnews.com Note: 2655 yuan, Bank of China 2299 yuan) and HomePod mini for 899 kroner (currently about 918 yuan, Bank of China sells for 749 yuan).

Apple stopped producing the full-size first-generation HomePod in 2021, but the company launched the second-generation HomePod in January. The new HomePod 2 has a design similar to that of the original smart speakers, with a larger backlit touch surface and other improvements; although two tweeters are missing, the new HomePod sounds almost the same as the original, but the Siri still has its drawbacks compared with other virtual assistants.

The smaller HomePod mini speakers were launched in 2020 and there are no hardware changes except for new color options. It is not clear when Apple will launch the HomePod mini 2 model.
