CTOnews.com, May 9, last week Microsoft opened a preview version of Bing chat to everyone, allowing everyone to experience the artificial intelligence chat robot. Microsoft will also continue to introduce updates and improvements to enhance the user experience of Bing chat.

A user recently asked Mikhail Parakhin, chief executive of Microsoft's advertising and web services division on Twitter, how and when Microsoft updated the chatbot model.

Mikhail revealed that it will take Microsoft several months to train the Bing chat model. As a result, users are likely to see model updates about three times a year.

"the model itself takes several months to train, so in addition to some small reinforcement learning adjustments, the model is expected to be updated about three times a year." Mikhail said.

CTOnews.com previously reported that after pushing Bing chat to an open preview, Microsoft also promised that it was working closely with OpenAI to bring third-party plug-in support to chatbots.
