In addition, thanks to the Wi-Fi connection, the new speakers now support Apple AirPlay, Alexa MRM and Google Chromecast. The new model supports 24-bit / 96kHz HD audio over Wi-Fi. The JBL Boombox 3 has five speakers, including a subwoofer, two alto units and two tweeter units. In addition, the device also supports Dolby panoramic sound (Dolby Atmos).
The Charge 5 is equipped with a subwoofer, a tweeter and two passive subwoofer radiators that last up to 20 hours on a single charge, while the Boombox 3 provides up to 24 hours of playback time.
