Google will crack down on AI image fraud and launch image traceability function
CTOnews.com May 11 news, AI generated pictures are becoming more and more widespread on the Internet, and some of them can even be confused with real ones. To solve this problem, Google announced a new solution at the I / O 2023 developer conference.
Google said it would add a new method in the coming months to help users evaluate whether images were generated by AI.
Through the "About this Image" tool in the search, users will be able to see important background information, such as a picture that has been seen elsewhere on the Internet, or similar when and where the picture appeared.

Later this year, users will be able to use the feature in Google Apps or Chrome's Lens.
