According to reports, a number of people familiar with the matter revealed that as early as the end of 2022, Wang Jian had already been invited by Zhang Yong and others to inspect and guide Ali Yun's work as a behind-the-scenes adviser. After months of running-in and negotiation, Wang Jian will join Aliyun full-time with a brand new title in the near future.

Wang Jian founded Ali Cloud Computing Co., Ltd. in September 2009 as president and stepped down in 2013.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, Alibaba has just undergone a major change in the organizational structure. Zhang Yong, chairman of the board of directors and CEO of Alibaba Group, issued a full letter announcing the launch of the "1x 6N" organizational change. Specifically, "1" refers to Alibaba Group, "6" refers to Aliyun Intelligence, Taobao Tmall Business, Local Life, Cainiao, International Digital Commerce, and Big Entertainment six major business groups, and "N" refers to other business companies under Ali. Ali stressed that qualified business groups and companies will have the possibility of independent financing and listing.
