CTOnews.com May 12 News, according to Meta, Facebook Messenger's Apple Watch app will be retired at the end of May, and users will not be able to reply to messages on the service by wrist.

Some users have been notified that Facebook Messenger will no longer be available as an Apple Watch application after May 31, but users will continue to be able to receive Messenger notifications on their watches.

The spokesman for Meta made the following statement:

"after pairing, users can still receive Messenger notifications on Apple Watch, but from the end of May, users will no longer be able to respond through the watch. Users can continue to use Messenger on iPhone, computers and Web."
