Kingsoft Office announced today that WPS AI will embed LLM capabilities into four major components: tables, text, presentations, and PDF, supporting desktop computers and mobile devices.

According to reports, after the overseas version of WPS form is equipped with WPS AI, users can directly ask the WPS form to get the results, including the use of formulas, conditional formats, perspective charts and other advanced functions.

Overseas version of WPS table will also support automatic generation of formulas, some formulas contain complex functional relationships, with the blessing of WPS AI, just tell WPS table the desired calculation results, the formula will be automatically generated.

After WPS text is equipped with WPS AI, it will support automatic generation of voice command content, such as "this note is too little, expand and write".

WPS text will also support highlighting, which can help users quickly find the key information of the article.

When WPS AI is installed in the WPS presentation (that is, PPT), it will support automatic content generation, "fine-tuning" functions such as single page generation, expansion and rewriting, and automatic generation of speech notes.

After WPS PDF is equipped with WPS AI, it will support direct understanding of PDF content, summary, outline generation, content Q & A, question tracing, translation and so on.

Jinshan Office said that WPS AI is actively promoting compliance work, the launch time to the official release shall prevail. WPS AI is the product code name, and the final naming is subject to the official release.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, WPS AI is expected to be launched as a new benefit for WPS super members, and judging from the information released by WPS AI, this feature seems to be similar to Microsoft's "Microsoft 365 Copilot".
