CTOnews.com Microsoft today officially launched Visual Studio 2022 17.6 update after releasing a preview in April this year, introducing a series of powerful tools and features to help developers create excellent applications and experiences.

This update improves Git file history performance, speeds up Chromium on and off times, and speeds up the performance profiler stop collection operation.

The new version also improves the All-in-One Search UI, which helps developers quickly locate code and use Visual Studio features in one search.

Developers can also use Sticky Scroll in the new version, which keeps important content such as namespaces, classes, and methods on the screen as they scroll through code.

The editor also improves the presentation of the programming language, helping developers better visually distinguish between left and right brace sets, making it easier to find missing braces.

The new version introduces spell checker functionality for C#, C++, and Markdown files, as well as numerous debugging and diagnostic tools.
