Picture source: WikiMedia market research agency ID Crypt Global recently conducted a questionnaire survey of 1200 British office workers, 95% of respondents said they had heard of artificial intelligence; 94% of respondents said they were not worried that artificial intelligence would replace their jobs and were not prepared to learn new skills or change industries.

Responses to the introduction of artificial intelligence in the workplace were mixed: 45 per cent of respondents thought the introduction of AI would have a positive effect, while 55 per cent thought it would have a negative effect.

In terms of the broader impact on society, 47 per cent tended to "hurt", 36 per cent said it would bring benefits, and 17 per cent said they were unsure.
