Sources say Sony is developing a small folding screen phone to revive the Compact series.

CTOnews.com, May 20, according to Japanese media sumahodigest, Sony plans to launch a small folding screen phone, which may belong to the Compact series. CTOnews.com inquiries learned that Sony has not launched its flagship Compact series with a small size since the Xperia XZ2 Compact in 2018.
