CTOnews.com, May 20, according to Japanese media sumahodigest, Sony plans to launch a small folding screen phone, which may belong to the Compact series. CTOnews.com inquiries learned that Sony has not launched its flagship Compact series with a small size since the Xperia XZ2 Compact in 2018.

At present, only Apple and Sony have not released any folding screen products for mainstream mobile phone brands. The source pointed out that the small-size folding phone developed by Sony is similar to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, but has no external screen design, which makes it possible for Sony to revive the Compact series of products.

Sumahodigest also said that some industry insiders believe that the folding phone under development by Sony is the Xperia Fold, which may locate the game phone and cannot confirm whether the two are the same product.
