This also means that Huawei is the only mobile phone manufacturer to raise its shipping target in the current environment, while other major mobile phone brands are still cutting orders.

It is reported that shipments have been reduced almost every month so far this year. People in the supply chain say they are confirming why Huawei raised its shipping target. The report stressed that other mobile phone brands are not in a position to follow Huawei to raise its mobile phone shipment target, at least in the short term.

In terms of folding screen products, the supply chain forecasts that Huawei will ship up to 3 million folding phones this year, about 7.5 per cent of Huawei's annual shipments. CTOnews.com has previously reported that according to the ranking of China's mobile phone market released by research institutions, Huawei's shipments have fallen out of the top five due to force majeure, and its market share has fallen from a peak of 45.2% in 2020 to only 7.9%, ranking sixth.
