The source said that Tesla's conciliatory move shows that the war with Dali Liguang has ended early and has not yet reached the litigation process. The source stressed that Dali Liguang not only won the order from Tesla, but also raised the price of some optical products supplied by Tesla, including the grant fee. The biggest impact of the patent war is Tesla's existing supplier of automotive lenses to Asia Optics. Sources said that Tesla transferred the order of Asian Optics to Da Liguang and reached a settlement. Before that, Da Liguang had engaged in a patent war with Advanced Light for nearly 10 years, and it was not until 2021 that it reached a settlement. It took a 14.04% stake in Advanced Light, making it its largest shareholder. Dali Liguang has waged a patent war several times in recent years, and last year launched a patent lawsuit against Yu Jingguang, which ranks second in lens market in Xiamen.
