CTOnews.com May 25 news, in the Hongkou Science and Technology Festival held on May 23 main venue activities,"Hongkou Fuxing" optical remote sensing satellite officially named debut. The satellite, named after Hongkou Fuxing Senior High School, will be launched in mid-to-late July.

According to introduction, AS-02"Hongkou Fuxing" optical remote sensing satellite led by Hongkou District Science and Technology Committee and Hongkou District Education Bureau, Fuxing Senior Middle School and Hongkou District Youth Activity Center jointly named Sixiang Science and Technology Construction and Operation, creating a precedent for commercial satellites named by educational units within Shanghai City.

Next, Fuxing Senior High School, Hongkou District Youth Activity Center and Sixiang Science and Technology will jointly create and share space technology research resources, cooperate to develop science and technology education courses related to space technology, and actively explore science and technology research projects with Hongkou characteristics under the guidance of cooperation framework agreement.

CTOnews.com learned from the official that the research activity is planned to be held in mid-to-late July, when a group of Hongkou students will be selected to carry out research activities at Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center to witness the whole launch process of "Hongkou Fuxing".
