ChatGPT official App has been launched in more regions, including Europe, South Korea, New Zealand, etc.

OpenAI first launched the mobile app last week, when it was available only in the U.S., and now users in Europe, South Korea, new Zealand and elsewhere can download it on the App Store.

ChatGPT is a free and ad-free app, just a tool for interacting with chatbots, with no extra features. The following is a list of countries where ChatGPT apps are currently available: Albania, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Jamaica, new Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria (), South Korea, United Kingdom, and United States. Currently, the app is only available on iOS devices. OpenAI also promised in its previous announcement that Android apps are "coming soon."

Users can type text into the app's text box, use Apple's built-in speech recognition to enter speech, or use OpenAI's open-source speech recognition system Whisper for speech input. The app also supports code blocks, and users can copy and paste answers.

By default, ChatGPT saves user chat logs and uses them for model training. CTOnews.com found that there was no way to disable data sharing without disabling chat logs.

If you're a ChatGPT Plus subscriber, you'll be able to use GPT-4 features through the mobile app with faster answers, which ChatGPT Plus charges $20 per month.
